Chris Doppman

Chris joined Next Legacy in 2025 as Head of Investor Relations and is responsible for global fundraising efforts and investor engagement. He brings extensive experience building and managing relationships.

Prior to joining Next Legacy, Chris was Capital Formation Lead at TCV, a leading global growth equity firm investing across technology landscape. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director, Investor Relations at NEA where he helped raise both global venture and growth equity funds that invest in technology and healthcare start-ups. He managed key relationships across the US, Europe, and Middle East. Chris also spent time at IFC Asset Management Company and The Carlyle Group where he helped launch new products across buyout and growth equity products and managed key LP relationships.  He began his career in investment banking at UBS, Evercore, and Hovde Financial.

Chris earned his MBA at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and his B.A. from Georgetown University and holds a CAIA certificate. He lives in the DC suburbs with his amazing wife and two teenagers, and because apparently that was not enough, he somehow found himself with two puppies as well.
